Hello beauties!! šŸ™‚ It has been quite awhile hasn’t it? About a year or so I believe. Well, I am here to tell you that I am officially back! I have made some very necessary changes and updates to my blog that I think will be very beneficial in the upcoming future of it. I would love to hear some of your thoughts on the changes, whether your opinion be good or bad, just to further improve!

The first and most important change I made was upgrading my plan on WordPress. I am now on the Premium plan rather than the Free plan. This allowed me to create my own domain without the “.wordpress.com” and just makes my blog feel more like my own. I won’t go into too many detail on this plan as there are so many but there are two that I am most excited about. I can now edit the theme I want to use, which helpsĀ make my blog feel like my own, and I can also embed videos if I ever want to branch out into the YouTube world!

The second change I made was switching up the theme, colors, fonts, and overall layout of my blog. I now LOVE the way my blog looks! I finally learned how to put the read more bar into my posts so the front page is less cluttered and I reorganized my posts and categories. I added a few categories, “Life” and “Food”, because I want to expand my blog a little instead of doing just beauty. I will still be blogging about beauty, so don’t worry, but I just wanted to have a blog that represents me better.

The third change I made was adding a gallery to my blog so I could share some of the pictures I have taken. All pictures I will feature on my blog will be ones I have taken, unless I say otherwise. I hope to share some of my adventures and make my blog more interesting.

The fourth and final change I made was deleting some of my posts. The posts I kept are the posts I believed showed my writing skills the best, or the posts you guys seemed to love. I also edited them to my liking so they should be even better than before. If you had a post that you really liked that I deleted, I can redo it if enough people request. There were some posts where I really had to think about deleting and others that I could do very easily because they were never favorites of mine. This change was definitely one of the hardest and most time-consuming but I am happy with the way it turned out.

Overall, I made these changes to my blog because I wanted to make it feel like my own once again. I will continue to change and grow my blog as I change and grow as a person because my blog is a reflection of my skills as a writer and person. I hope you enjoy the changes I have made and I really would appreciate feedback to make it better everyday. As more a schedule for my blog, I haven’t yet decided but I will work it out very soon. I hope to be able to have at least 2-3 a week, but since pictures for each post take so much time it may be more around 1-2 until I figure out a planned time within my week for them. I do have a few things such as my About Me and Contact Me that I need to rewrite, so don’t mind the empty pages as they are drafts right now. For some reason, writing the About Me is such a struggle (proud passenger of the struggle bus). I believe I have covered everything as of right now, so I am going to go work on those pages! Feel free to share what you think about these changes and I will be back soon with my first post in a year!
